Propor\u0163ia din for\u0163a de munc\u0103 din Europa care sufer\u0103 de o problem\u0103 de s\u0103n\u0103tate mintal\u0103 este estimat\u0103 a fi de la 1 din 5 (OECD, 2012) la 2 din 5 (Wittchen et al., 2011)<\/p>\n<p>Una dintre st\u0103rile de s\u0103n\u0103tate mintal\u0103 sub-optim\u0103 care poate avea consecin\u0163e severe este stresul legat de munc\u0103. \u00cen timp ce stresul legat de munc\u0103 a fost definit de Comisia European\u0103, \u00een 2002, drept acel tipar de reac\u0163ii emo\u0163ionale, cognitive, comportamentale \u015fi fiziologice \u00een fa\u0163a aspectelor nocive \u015fi adverse ale muncii, ale organiza\u0163iei din care face parte persoana sau ale mediului de lucru, OMS l-a definit drept r\u0103spunsul pe care oamenii \u00eel pot avea c\u00e2nd se confrunt\u0103, la locul de munc\u0103, cu cerin\u0163e \u015fi presiuni care nu sunt la acela\u015fi nivel cu cuno\u015ftin\u0163ele \u015fi abilit\u0103\u0163ile lor \u015fi care le pun la \u00eencercare abilitatea de a gestiona situa\u0163ia (OMS, 2003).<\/p>\n<p>Acum este disponibil un \u00eentreg corp de eviden\u0163e legate de riscurile de munc\u0103 care ne pot afecta negativ, at\u00e2t la nivel mintal, c\u00e2t \u015fi fizic, tulbur\u0103ri care duc, la r\u00e2ndul lor, la efecte negative asupra performan\u0163ei profesionale \u015fi a celei sociale (OMS, 2008).\u00a0 \u00cen plus de pericolele fizice de la locul de munc\u0103, care pot impacta \u00een mod direct s\u0103n\u0103tatea mintal\u0103, exist\u0103 factori de risc lega\u0163i de mediul psiho-social (numi\u0163i \u00een mod frecvent stresori organiza\u0163ionali), care au acela\u015fi impact.
